How We Publish

Here at Synclaire Publishing, our goal is to turn writers' dreams into reality and be there for them in every way. Unlike big-five traditional publishers, we partner with you to polish your story, publish it, and make it accessible to readers and several retailers with ongoing marketing plans.

We produce quality, industry-standard books that entertain, educate, and inspire readers of all ages. Do you think you have a manuscript that fits our brand? We'd love to review it.

Hybrid Publishing Model

In this hybrid publishing model, we simply partner with you as a publisher to bring your vision to life. You choose what formats you want your book to be published in: (1) ebook, (2) paperback, (3) hardcover - or all three. You only pay for the services you need and are assigned an ISBN and LCCN (Library of Congress Control Number) on us.

You only pay for the services you need and keep 100% control, 100% of your rights as the owner of your work, and 100% royalties.

Guidelines:

~ We only accept novellas (18,000-49,000 words) and novels (50,000+).

Please note - stories 18-25k words long can only be published in ebook format.

~ Your manuscript must be completed and ready to be thoroughly edited, if accepted.

~ No erotica of any kind - your submission will automatically be deleted.

Traditional Publishing Model

In this traditional publishing model, you pay a small one-time cost to cover the costs of editing services, design, marketing, etc. and we turn your manuscript into a polished book. This process is very similar to a large traditional publisher's, but you receive better benefits and the support you deserve.

We take care of the entire process, so any changes requested after the proofing process will need to be approved/denied by us as your publisher. Your book is published in ebook, paperback, and hardcover (dust jacket or casewrap) under one of our imprints. Your book will also receive an ongoing marketing campaign, a release day event, and entry into at least one competition, on us. You also receive, free of charge, an ISBN and LCCN (Library of Congress Control Number). This option is good for writers who just want to focus on their writing. You keep 100% of your rights as the owner of your work and 80% royalties - the highest from any traditional publishing model.
